UFC 89 (Free Fight On Spike TV)

The two big fights are Leben vs Bisping, and Jardine vs Vera.

I got Bisping over Leben. I think Leben sucks. That guy just isn't a good fighter at all. I also got Vera over Jardine. Jardine's last few fights haven't looked that great.

I got Leben & Vera.
It may be that I hope Leben will win, nto necessarily think he will. But I think he is a BJJ Black Belt or something. I never like loudmouth Bisbing. I think Hamil got royally screwed when they fought in the UK last time. I not sure why anyone would fight him there again. That may be why Leben is fighting him instead of somebody better.
I remember Leben getting owned by A Silva but everyone gets pwned by the Spider.

I like Jardine but I think Vera is gonna be too big to get knocked out by The Dean of Mean. I think that's about his only shot.
All in all, screw this card, I love the free ones, but hate that it's not live. Bring on Siva/Cote Baby!

BTW, I have seen events before where I decided that I'd rather just pony up the cash for PPV.
Commercials between rounds fucks up the momentum I think.
I like to see how the fighters are conducting themselves after surviving a round and how the coach is coaching. I like the close-ups of the damage inflicted.
I also enjoy the rabid build-ups between fights and Joe Rogan freestyling.
You can actually hear the buzz grow and grow when you are live in the building the whole time until the main event. I wish UFC would just go ahead and sign a deal with HBO so I could have it semi-free and uninterupted and edited for vulagrity.
I don't care about paying for the fights. I love very little more.

I'm with you on that. Free fights are great, but stopping the fights for commercials really effects them. I'd rather pay for them. HBO would be great.
